100th Post!

When I noticed that my last post was #99, I couldn't resist quickly adding post #100! Who would have guessed that from last November until now, I'd actually stick with this long enough to have 100 posts. Amazing.

Catching up with this week....
On Tuesday, we had our carpet cleaned. It was in desperate need! It feels so good to have nice clean, white carpet again. I just hope it lasts more than a week!!! Tuesday night was our Enrichment meeting. I was in charge of making egg salad for some of the sandwiches we had for dinner that night. I must say, it turned out well. I don't make egg salad very often, so I was a bit apprehensive. I made about 4 1/2 dozen eggs, and it turned out well. At least people commented positively about it!

Yesterday I finished up my lesson for Sunday. Yes, I teach on Mother's Day. And ironically, the lesson is entitled, "Responding to Persecution with Faith and Courage". Funny topic for Mother's Day!!
Today my visiting teachers stopped by. Then I was off for my monthly haircut with Amber. After Mark got home from work, we were going to Dad's and Aunt Dovetta's to wish her a happy birthday (today), but instead they invited us to have dinner with them at Famous Dave's BBQ. It was quite tasty. I took her a couple of jars of freezer jam and a bottle of lotion for her birthday. She's 86 today. Happy Birthday, Aunt Dovetta!
Tonight we met Brian and their kids at the park so I could drop off the last of his class's papers for the year. Whew! I don't mind doing it, but it's a relief to have a couple of months off. I'll be ready to go again in August!

Tomorrow Jan, Gwen and Jan's sister, Sharon and I are headed to Mystic Paper in Mesa for a creativity "fix". I think we'll even stop at Scrapbooks, Etc. Should be a fun day!!
