Easter/Retirement Party

Since Mark was nearing retirement, and since it was almost Easter time, we wanted to have a party for and with the grandkids. We wanted it to be before it got too hot and while it was warm enough to play in the water. So we opted for a combination Easter/retirement party. Mark and I rented a big, blow-up water slide and a bouncy house for the back yard. We decided on pizza and wings for the menu....wouldn't want to work too hard, now, would we!?! The grandkids didn't know what was happening until they walked into our back yard....and they were surprised! I have to say, it was one of our best days so far!! We played in the water, bounced to our hearts' content, hid Easter eggs and ate till we about popped! We also rented a cotton candy machine....such fun! It was a full day of fun, sun and being together as a family.
