The day finally arrived for Mark's retirement! After 39 years on the job, it was time! Before his last days of work, the PD gave him a wonderful reception to honor him for his many years of dedicated service. The room was packed with family, friends, co-workers, former students and teachers who all came to recognize Mark for his work with the department. Many kind words were spoken, and were greatly appreciated. Way to go, Mark! Funny thing....since he retired, he wonders now how he ever had time to work! We're very busy every day, but in a very different way than before. It was a good life, but now we're on to the next chapter.

Yay for retirement! Ü Now that I'm involved with the GPD spouse group and attending the spouse academy, I actually recognize many of the people in these pictures :) Enjoy your life of leisure... or being more busy than ever before ;)
